How Stackwise researches hosting and domains

We aim to make buying decisions clearer by separating documented product terms from marketing language and by being explicit about what we have not tested.

What we compare

We look at the same decision factors across providers: billing term, renewal cost, domain registration and renewal, backups and restores, support, migration, resource limits and account controls. We link to primary sources whenever a policy or product term matters. Because prices and bundles change, readers should verify the exact plan and checkout total before purchasing.

What we do not claim

Our current provider comparisons are research-based guides. We have not published controlled speed, uptime or support-response tests. We do not call a host “fastest,” declare a permanent cheapest winner or assign measured performance scores without a repeatable test method and dated evidence. A comparison is a shortlist, not a guarantee.

Sources and corrections

We prioritize official provider plan pages for current terms, WordPress documentation for platform needs and ICANN guidance for domain rights and management. If a page is missing a source or a product term changes, it should be updated before making a stronger recommendation.

Commercial disclosure

Some outbound links on this site may be affiliate links, which could earn a commission if a purchase is made. This should not increase the visitor’s cost. Commercial placement should be clearly labeled and kept separate from editorial criteria. Current comparison guides do not require a purchase to use.
